Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park reports that Rangers 2009 first round pick Chris Kreider has eight goals in his last nine games for Boston College and any thoughts of him becoming the next Huge Jessiman can go away..."It is scary when you realize that Kreider actually skates faster with the puck on his stick than he does without it. Becoming faster with the puck on your stick is an almost impossible task but Kreider does it as he can increase his speed.
It is always nice to be proven wrong as we had serious doubts about Chris Kreider's talents but he is showing that he was a worthy pick for the Rangers to make in the 2009 draft..."
...it seems like the World Junior Champioships really gave Kreider a shot of confidence as he has been on a roll ever since helping lead US to the gold.
...as always great job by Rubenstein keeping an eye on all the Rangers prospects.
