Chris Drury, Ryan Callahan and Team USA defeated Olli Jokinen and Finalnd by the score of 6-1 to send the Americans to the gold medal game to face Canada tomorrow. Game recap....i could not believe what I was witnessing in that first period. After the sixth goal the Finns were probably looking for their women's team goaltender.
...another solid performance for Drury and Callahan. I'd really like to see Callahan get on the score sheet tomorrow.
While in the other semi, Canada held on to defeat Marian Gaborik and Slovakia by the score of 3-2. Game recap.
...nice comeback by the Slovaks. This was the first game I was actually able to watch Gaborik during the Olympics and he's held scoreless. Sorry Marian.
...the Rangers are assured of three medals. Not too bad.
