...got to love the grit and passion this team played with tonight. You just have to wonder why we can't see this type of effort every night. Great job rallying around the injuries.
...speaking of the injuries, not a good sign that Gaborik couldn't even get to the half way point of the first period. You have to figure he'll definitely be out for Sunday's game and now you have to wonder if he'll be able to play in the Olympics. As far as Del Zotto goes, we just have to hope it's not too deep of a cut. If not, the break should give him ample time to recover.
...big goal for Jokinen, I was starting to wonder if Prust was the better player in the Kotalik deal.
...as disappointed as I was in Dubinsky and Callahan's effort against Nashville is excited as I am about their performance tonight.
...if Drury played with that emotion every game he'd have fewer Ranger fans calling for him to be stripped of the "C".
...loved Dubinsky calling Crosby a baby during the second intermission.
...oh yeah and that guy Lundqvist played pretty well tonight.
...'Albatross Twins' stat line tonight: 47 minutes, 2 assists and a +2. Not bad.
...one negative (sorry there has to be at least one) this team needs to learn how to bury rebounds in front of the net. It seems they're never in the right position or ready when there's a golden oppotunity staring at them in the face.
...off tomorrow then the Bolts are in town for the last game before the Olympic break.

William, it was a joke.
I think the effort Drury gives on a night to night basis, is by far better then any other player on this team.... Just watch the PK, which the Rangers are on about 5-6 times a game...Drury is winning faceoffs, thorowing himself in front of every shot, and doing his best to create offense while being demoted down to the 4 th line.....
He does all of this without a complaint, no bitching, no trade request (tough $$ to trade) This is what A Captain is all about....
NYRFan, you are the only onelooking for the "C" to be removed, and I will say it again....that is a Stupid idea that will not get anything accomplished!!!

Fleisch, while I have called for Drury to be stripped of the "C" (I'm not the only one) I have never questioned his hard work and commitment to the team.
Good job by Rozsival trying to pull off Cooke when he was pounding Drury on the ice. Can't believe I'd ever say this but I wish he was on the ice that night in Philly.
That was a good clip of Shelley, but this one is better I think. He takes a ton of punches from Orr and barely moves before throwing them back:
