Drury, Callahan Settle for Silver

Chris Drury, Ryan Callahan and Team USA earned the silver medal today by losing to Canada 3-2 in overtime in the gold medal game of the Olympics. Game recap.

...well that game lived up to the hype. Congrats to Drury and Callahan on earning silver medals.

...could there have been a worse player for Ranger fans to see score that gold medal winner than Crosby? Maybe if Brodeur was somehow able to score.

...that was the first and last time I jump out of my seat to celebrate a goal scored by a Devil.

...overall the Olympics provided amazing hockey and Bettman is out of his mind not to commit to the 2014 games yet.

...having said that, I'm happy to see the book closed on the 2010 Winter Olympics and Let's Go Rangers!!!!

Absolutely right - no one worse than Crosby to score that goal. Maybe Brandon Prust will congratulate him on Thursday at the Garden with a punch in the mouth.

I would be interested to know how Canadian players that should dislike the pens (Avery, Prust) would feel about him scoring the winner, they must have been glad canada won.... or maybe they don't pay any attention...

I don't think they really care. Avery hates Crosby either way and Prust's only worry is who to pummel next. More importantly, how good did Drury look? He played every shift like it was his last, maybe Torts told him it was his time to prove everyone wrong. He has looked better since returning from the concussion and since his wife gave birth again, maybe family issues were distracting him, hopfully this newfound gear will translate into the regular season.

Drury looked good. Hopefully he waives his no-trade clause to go to a contender at the deadline. He's a perfect fit for a good team in need of the final piece (San Jose, are you listening?)...
