Who Wants Peter Forsberg?

It looks like John Dellapina does in today's Daily News...

"Isn't it about time that Lundqvist gets on the horn with countryman Peter Forsberg, reminisces a bit about the good times they had bringing home gold from Turin and then convinces the all-world center to sign on with the Rangers for the remainder of the season?

Forsberg is attempting yet another comeback from his chronic foot and ankle woes. And the reports have been promising... Where better to cap his career than on Broadway, perhaps as the Euro center who ignites a Jagr explosion.

Time is running short for Forsberg to make a decision and pick a team. He has until Jan. 31 to sign with a Swedish Elite League team and until the Feb. 26 trade deadline to sign with an NHL team and be eligible for the playoffs."

...with the Rangers cap situation they would probably need to move someone, Malik anyone, but if Forsberg is only going to cost the Rangers money then why not. They can move Drury to the wing and drop Prucha to the fourth line. Its not like this team has some great chemistry that Forsberg would come in and ruin.
