Rangers Eyeing a Rental Defenseman

According to Larry Brooks at the New York Post, the Rangers have a number of veteran defensemen in their sights...

"...the Rangers will check on potential rentals Rob Blake, Adam Foote and Jon-Michael Liles as they will on potential rental Dan Boyle, who returned to the Tampa Bay lineup on Thursday. But they are also sure to keep a close watch on Toronto's outstanding 29-year-old defenseman Tomas Kaberle, who has three years at $4.25M per remaining on his contract that includes a no-trade clause."

...Brooks also mentions in his article that the Rangers are looking to move Malik quickly (no kidding?) and that he's actually a tradable commodity (really?).
