Steve Zipay at Blue Notes, reports on the Ranger line changes for tonight's game...
"In order to create more energy, accoridng to the coach, Avery moves up to play left wing with Gomez and Jagr; Dubinsky will center Dawes and Shanahan, and Drury will center Straka and Prucha. The fourth line remains the same; Marcel Hossa is scratched again.
Marek Malik is back in, playng with Michal Rozsival. Strudwick with Marc Staal, Fedor Tyutin with Dan Girardi. Paul Mara, whose shot on the power play may be missed, is not being punished, said Renney, for his play. "It's to get Harry (Malik) in," he said.
If you're a skeptic, you may wonder whether a deal involving Mara or Malik, both unrestricted free agents, is in the works. I'll make some inquiries...
Henrik Lundqvist is in the net again...."
...I like the forward lines. A good mix of veterans and young players. The only thing I would have liked to see was Hossa put on the fourth line for Hollweg.
...not happy with Malik back in the lineup, but maybe as Zipay says, there's a deal involving Mara in the works.
