"More bad news for the Rangers at this morning's practice.
Jaromir Jagr did not skate today after injuring both of his feet in last night's 4-1 loss in Pittsburgh. Coach Tom Renney said Jagr was hit with a puck in one foot and kicked in the other. He was limping around the Rangers' training facility and it's uncertain if he'll be able to play in tomorrow night's home game against Buffalo.
In other, slightly more positive injury news, Brendan Shanahan (hip, back) and Sean Avery (wrist) did skate today, and there is a chance one or both could be back tomorrow night. We'll see..."
...might be good to give Jagr a day off to rest his injury. Especially after seeing Shanahan worsen his injury by trying to play through the pain. Plus it might do him well to get a day off.
