Canucks More Likely Destination for Sundin than Rangers

Bruce Dowbiggin at The Calgary Herald says that the Vancouver Canucks strong play of late has made them a more legitimate contender in the Mats Sundin sweepsteaks than teams such as the Rangers who will 'have to move salary in a stagnant trade market.'

...the Rangers continual struggles on the power play is getting me closer to wanting him, but I'm still not convinced that Sundin is what the Rangers need right now. However, check back with me in a month because I might be singing a different tune.

Eklund at HockeyBuzz says that the Rangers want in on the Jay Bouwmeester trade talks but are waiting out the Sundin situation before making a move.

...wow, this seems like a very logical trade rumor from Eklund. Amazing.
