Voros Sticks Up for Avery

Today, Aaron Voros had this to say about the supension of fellow agitator Sean Avery...

From Ranger Rants...

"You can't suspend a guy for saying what he feels," Aaron Voros said. "He didn't slander the league, the organization or the players.

"I think it's stupid," Voros added. "I genuinely think he had a bone to pick. It's all about free speech."

Voros also said that the NHL missed a golden publicity opportunity by not letting Avery play against the Calgary Flames last night after making those comments.

"I guarantee you, they would have been running hockey first on SportsCenter," Voros said. "Maybe after Plaxico."

...i pretty much have to agree with everything Voros had to say.

...i wonder if Bettman will now suspend Voros for these comments.
