"All parties said there is a clear understanding that a return to the Stars is not in the best interest of either the hockey club or Avery," the team said in a news release.
Details of his departure still must be worked out. He could be traded, sent to the minors or bought out next summer. The club said it will work with Avery to try making this an amicable divorce.
...i think this whole incident gave the Dallas franchise a great excuse to rid themselves of a mistake they made by signing Avery. I still can't believe Dallas management didn't confer more with it's players on whether they would accept someone like Avery into their locker room. It was more than obvious that the players were against the signing from the beginning.

don't post Ottawa Sun comments any more. Nothing the writer says makes any sense. I don't want to deal with his garbage.
thanks!
Does this mean I need another poll about the Ottawa Sun? You guys need to lighten up. They're just rumors.
Seriously meister, no rumors ever come true. Why not just take them with a grain of salt like everyone else?
I'd love to give the middle finger to everyone in Dallas except for Avery. I wish him the best on his next NHL/career move.
