What does this mean for MZA?
Rangers may not be considering him as a prospect more of a free agent pickup.
MZA isn't a prospect, he is already a professional.
And without seeing the other rosters yet, I wouldn't say championship. The goaltending looks ok, I don't see a ton of scoring there and the defense is big but not that good with the puck outside of the Islander Niemi.

Scott, I thought McDonagh has decent hands, no?
Maybe Chad Johnson is not at Traverse City because they already know what they have in Johnson, a poised goalie with skills that will play another solid year in Hartford. If, God forbid, we need to call up a goalie, Johnson has a pretty good shot.
In any case, I like the looks of this team. Will any of this be televised?

They are Rangers. We are Rangers fans. Anything short of a championship will never be acceptable. Period.
I was wondering lately if they considered MZA a prospect or pro. I guess this does answer that. Pumped for more offense already.
