i just sucks hes notlike hat anymore, i hate this toned down avery, i want the guy who made kovalchuk go after him in the playofs years ago back, the guy who did what he did infront of marty and then scored! i want that avery back, thats why i think it as good when torts benched him, hes just not the same guy. like this year i thought he would just be a complete loose cannon. hopefully that will be this year
im really confused about how everyone says avery cant find that line of not going overboard? really sean? you cant possibly think hitting tim thomaas with your stick or fighting brodeur is a good idea...agitate..but do not engage.
although it IS entertaining to watch.
i cant believe ott got so high on the list. and they gave number one to barnaby? weird.
about sean, hes just gotta go out there and do his thing. torts has to understand what kind of player he is and use him to his advantage. hopefully he'll be back.
Torts need to take the cuffs off of Avery...with a player like Avery, his antics take the other team off their game and yes he does take a bad penalty now and again...but I bet at the end of the day he draws more Power plays for the Rangers then he gives up...
