...Sauer has some nice toughness the Rangers could use. Unfortunately he's been injury prone. Would like to see him have a strong camp to give Rangers brass something to think about. Don't think there's room for him, however.

Didnt know he needed a new contract but Im glad we re-signed him. You gotta love our depth at D. We lost Sanguinetti and we've still got plenty of talented young guys. Im excited for the future of Marc Staal and co.
