...as a Mets fan it's nice to see not everyone has jumped on the Yankees bandwagon.

I once saw a guy at the Prudential Center with a Devils jersey and a Yankees cap. I told him that he's a walking contradiction who jumped on the bandwagon.
Avery is getting endorsements from both the Yankees and the Mets. sound familiar?
You can't be a Ranger fan and a Met fan. It doesn't work like that. Rangers fans are Yankees fans. Rangers and Mets are in totally different locations, and their fans have totally different mindsets.
No, I think you can be a Met and Ranger fan. From my personal experience, I think being Met fan has prepared me for all sorts of disappointment. Hence, when the Rangers lost the last game of the season to the Flyers, I was ready.
Unlike those Yankee-Rangers fans, who constantly bit%# about the team and argue why we should go out and get "X" superstar.
some ranger fans live on long island. actually plenty do. i prededed the isles in hockey so was ranger fan before isles came.
as for yankees and mets - for me its neither and i root for out of town team but not to the degree i'm a ranger fan. not even close.
