Over at ESPN.com, Scott Burnside and Joy Russo give their opinions on the playoff push including their take on a Ranger/Devil first round match-up...Burnside (11:20 a.m.) No kidding. Can you imagine a Rangers-Devils series? Both teams play it pretty close to the vest, and with Henrik Lundqvist and Brodeur going toe to toe, well, let's just say I hope they sell pillows with the tickets in both rinks.
Russo (11:17 a.m.): Zzzzzzzzzzzzz ... dump ... trap ... chase ... shut down ... I AM AWAKE NOW!
...the Rangers and Devils have combined to score only 22 goals (not including the two goals given to the Rangers for their shootout wins) in the seven games they've played against each other this year. That's 3.14 goals combined a game. Yuch.
