Rangers Have 91% Chance of Wining Series

John Dellapina at The Blueshirts Blog breaks down the winning percentages for teams with a 3-1 series lead...

"In the 223 NHL best-of-sevens going into this spring in which one team took a 3-1 series lead, here is how things ultimately went:

The leading team won in five games 135 times (60.5 percent). The leading team won in six games 50 times (22.4 percent). The leading team won in seven games 18 times (8.1 percent). The trailing team won in seven games 20 times (9.0 percent)."

...I don't care if its a 99.9% chance, I'm still not celebrating until the final horn sounds on a Rangers victory.

Dellapina also posts about the Rangers refusal to criticize the horrid officiating while the Devils are being consumed by it.
