Arthur Staple at Newsday reports on Jagr taking Dubinsky under his wing..."Dubinsky welcomes the advice from Jagr, who has never been thought to be the nurturing type...Dubinsky is learning from watching Jagr, too, not just listening. The kid's first goal of Game 3 was a vintage Jagr move..."
At the New York Times, Lynn Zinser talks about Lundqvist being nominated for the Vezina trophy despite some mid-season struggles..."In late December, the Rangers were in a midseason swoon and Lundqvist, their normally rock-solid goalie, was dealing with his father’s operation for a brain aneurysm in Sweden. The stress showed in his play."
John Dellapina at the Daily News also talks about Lundqvist..."But upon coming out the other end of a season that was more turbulent and personally trying than any of his previous four as a professional in Sweden and the NHL, Lundqvist has emerged feeling stronger and wiser than ever.
Jay Greenberg at the New York Post has his own story on Lundqvist..."Lundqvist revived the New York Rangers out of nowhere his rookie year, but after winning Olympic gold in 2006 for Sweden in Turin, got hurt and faded. He struggled at the start of his sophomore season and had a mediocre middle this time around. Bad never turned to worse however, something talent evaluators understand as most of a goalie's battle."
