Speaking of ratings, Neil Best at Newsday has this...
"...the final ratings for the Knicks show that for the first time in recent memory, they trailed their hockey siblings.
The Knicks were down 31 percent from last season to an average of 0.98 percent of area homes. The Rangers were up 87 percent to 1.16."
...I've said it before the NHL should embrace a player like Avery not punish him.
