Obama Not Only One Calling For Change

Steve Zipay at Blue Notes has thrown out a couple of ideas to shake up the Rangers including Henrik Lundqvist getting the next 10 starts, Prucha playing tomorrow against Islanders on a line with Dubinsky and Voros and these lines for Thursday against Tampa:

Naslund-Drury-Callahan
Dawes -Gomez-Zherdev
Voros-Dubinsky-Korpikoski (recall him)
Sjostrom-Betts-Orr

Sam Weinman at the Rangers Report notes that Renney did make some line-up changes today at practice.

...i'm going to have to agree with Zipay on all three of these ideas.

I like those lines a lot, except that it has Drury and Naslund back together. I propose Naslund and Zherdev being switched, giving you Zherdev-Drury-Callahan, and Dawes-Gomez-Naslund.

Also, why so eager to call up Korpikoski again, when it's only been two games and we have Prucha? I think Prucha should be given the next 5 games in order to prove himself once and for all.

i personally think we needed shanny, were kinda weak on the wings with only naslund and zherdev proving they can put the puck in the net on a somewhat consistent basis...im scared to see what this team will be next year with so much money tied up, and having dubie and zherdev as rfas...
