Notes:
- This will be the first time the Rangers face the Devils without Martin Brodeur since 2005.

- The Devils are 1-3-0 since losing Brodeur to injury.

- The Rangers have gone 8-0-1 against the Devils in their last nine games.

- The Devils have scored only two goals in the three losses since Brodeur went down, and have scored just 37 goals this season which ranks them 26th in the league.

- Devils defenseman Paul Martin (upper body soreness) will be a scratch for the fifth straight game.
