"It's a little sore, it's day to day, we'll see what happens next," Gomez said to Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants. "There's some improvement, I just wish it would go a little quicker. I've just got to be patient. It's one of these things where we'll see how it reacts once I get on the ice and we'll go from there. You get a pretty good idea (in the morning). Everybody knows their body. Fortunately, we've got a lot of depth. Something like this, you don't want to rush back so there's a setback."
Gross also reports on Wade Redden facing his former team tomorrow and Renney still defending Michal Rozsival.
...looks like it might be another week until we see Gomez back in the line-up. It's so important that players are stepping-up (Dawes, Korpikoski and Fritsche) in Gomez' absence to allow him extra time to heal his injury properly.
