Line-up Carousel Strikes Again

Sam Weinman at The Rangers Report says that Dan Fritsche was on a line with Chris Drury and Nigel Dawes today at practice.

Weinman wonders, with the success of the fourth line, why Renney hasn't tried moving Fred Sjostrom on a line with Drury and even mentions Patrick Rissmiller possibly being inserted back in the line-up.

...i think a change is needed. Why not try a line of Sjostrom-Drury-Fritsche? It would offer size, scoring ability and grittiness.

...and I would have no problem inserting Rissmiller on the fourth line to take Sjostrom's place.

...Dawes and Prucha do not deserve to be on the ice right now.

Yea re-insert Rissmiller he is great. Please all of them are bad. This team is actually annoying for some reason. meaning the rotation of a bunch of 3rd/4th liners.

all i kept on thinking while watching last nights game is how much i would love to have ovechkin on this team...he is the exact player we need (the exact player every team needs)
but a tough, young, sniper that can literally score any time he touches the puck. Not Nigel Dawes and Petr Prucha who couldn't score if their lives depended on it

yea someone let me know when prucha and dawes score a goal. College b-ball will start before they score. Slats really screwed this season up cap wise and i never cared about the cap. Until Jags and Shanny left.

Obviously, I don't think inserting Rissmiller is the answer to our problems but I think he would do a better job on the fourth line than Prucha or Dawes if Sjostrom is moved to a line with Drury.
