Valiquette Wants to Stay A Ranger

Sam Weinman of The Rangers Report writes...

Just how much does Valiquette like being a Ranger? This is how he described it to me:

“The staff is the best in the league. It’s the best facility. The best plane. The best food on the plane. The best workout facilities. The best coaches. There isn’t one negative aspect of being a New York Ranger. The quality of life is great here.”

In other words, he’s pretty miserable.

...Vally is the quintessential backup. He supports the starter, knows his role and actually plays well when called upon. Sather would be making a huge mistake if he doesn't re-sign Vally.

...Valiquette is 5-3-2 with a 2.13 gaa. and a .917 sv.% with 2 shutouts on the season. Not bad.

...who knew the Rangers had the best food on the plane. See these are the little nuggets The New York Rangers Blog gives to its readers.
