And Renney is more comfortable with the veteran’s ability to make quick plays and uncork shots from the point than the lanky Staal, who has been perhaps the Rangers’ best defenseman in the defensive zone."
...looks like I'm 1 for 2 in my goalie picks this weekend. Can't blame Renney for not wanting to go with his backup when two important points are out there for the taking.
...while Backman has been an adventure in the defensive zone, I think he's shown enough on the offensive end to warrant a spot on one of the power play units.
