From The Hockey News recap of Sunday, March 16th game...
"Manny Malhotra provided the offence with two goals and a career-high three points, and the Blue Jackets held off the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 on Sunday to set a franchise record with 75 points...
...Malhotra whacked a deflected shot out of the air on the backhand for his second of the game and eighth of the season."
...nice to see Malhotra still in the league and succeeding. Great kid who always gave 100%.
...Unfortunately for him, Malhotra was one of the many Ranger prospects in the early 2000s that were over-hyped (also see Brendl and Lundmark) and could not live up to the high expectations.
