The New York Rangers official website reports...
"Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms with free agent forward Justin Soryal.
Soryal, 20, has skated in 56 games with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) this season, registering 15 goals and 22 assists for 37 points, along with 140 penalty minutes. He currently ranks sixth on the team in goals (15), fifth in assists (22), tied for fifth in points (37), and ranks second in penalty minutes (140).
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward has skated in 198 career OHL games with the Peterborough Petes, recording 44 goals and 53 assists for 97 points, along with 455 penalty minutes."
...looks like Sather is stocking the organization with bruisers. First he trades for Gratton and now this guy.
...check out the below video of Soryal pummeling Marc Staal in an OHL game last year. I don't like this guy already.
