Rangers Involved in Proposalgate

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants, who was told yesterday that the proposal gone wrong during the Rangers/Tampa game was a hoax, now reports that the Rangers organization was involved...

"However, the third source said today that the “couple,” “Nick and Melissa” were actually actors hired from an agency and that it was meant as in-game entertainment. So the Rangers and the Madison Square Garden people knew all about this, which, to be fair, is different from what I heard Sunday."

...i cannot believe the legs this story has. It's all over the internet. It's almost getting to "Balloon Boy" ridiculousness.

...as far as the Rangers being involved, I like it. Not too often you see a sports organization think outside the box to entertain the crowd.

Are you serious!!! Because of that stupid stunt, ticket prices went up another $10...

They should be more concerned with the Sports Entertainment on the ice!!!

True, but you know just as well as I do that ticket prices just went up $10 not because of the stupid stunt but because of the stupid contracts that were given to Drury, Redden and Rozsival. And because the Dolans are greedy.
