Kotalik Scores on PP for 1st Goal w/Flames

TSN reports that former Ranger Ales Kotalik scored his first goal as a Flame on the power play during Calgary's 2-1 over the Panthers.

Kotalik's goal was actually a cross crease pass that deflected in off a Panther defender...

"It doesn't matter (how it looks), it still counts when it goes in," Kotalik said. "You create an opportunity around the net and sometimes it isn't pretty."

...if he would have gotten a few more bounces like that for the Rangers he might still be here.

Whatever, even if he plays well his contract was still awful for them. I'm glad he's gone.
