Shanahan Only Talking to Rangers

Ben Kuzma at the Vancouver Province reports that Brendan Shanahan's agent Rick Curran has denied rumors that he has been talking with Vancouver, San Jose and Montreal. Curran also says...

"We've only been having discussions with one team and that's the New York Rangers.

"Brendan still feels he has a job that he wants to finish with the Rangers and he knows he has some good hockey left in him. He fully intends on playing next year and at the moment, his intention is to play with the Rangers."

...man, Shanahan really wants to come back to the Rangers. Sorry Shanny, I really don't see it happening.

I'm guessing Shanny is too old and lazy to move his family to another city. PLus word around the streets is that he likes to hit on the young 18-22 year old model types at NYC nightspots.

We can not have Shanny back on this team. He's not going to take a step back. He shoots way too much and it's just frustrating to watch. The Rangers have moved on and I think it's time to forget about Shanahan.

To old? To lazy?? Hits on young girls?
Please......talk facts, not your obvious bias.
The guy was 4th on the team with points last year.(46!) He has a Awesome release and he should be shooting. Thats what he does. Good leadership too. Thanks for the great season Brendon and I hope you come back.
