Rangers File Response to NHL in U.S. District Court

"A quick read through of the document plus two attached letters that Jim Dolan sent (one to all the league’s other owners last September and another to Mario Lemieux recently) seems to add up to the following:

The Garden freely stipulates that NHL teams, at Board of Governors meetings, voted to approve all of the new media (internet) policies in question. Nevertheless, insisting that such policies are an illegal restraint of trade, the Garden reiterates its claim that the court should step in and declare them so."

...man if we thought the refereeing bias in the playoffs against Pittsburgh was bad, just wait until next year.
