ESPN.com reports..."Russian team Avangard Omsk says it has signed Jaromir Jagr, a day after the New York Rangers parted ways with the Czech winger.
Avangard announced the signing on its Web site Friday, but did not disclose the terms of the contract."

....would have liked to have seen Jagr stay in the NHL, so he could play in the Garden one last time and the fans could give a proper thank you.
