Eklund at Hockeybuzz is reporting..."Many people now feel that Sundin is waiting on the NY Rangers. That is the holdup" one source told me.
Obviously the Rangers would have to move mountains to bring in Mats cap-wise...Just remember: The only team that Mats approached himself to play for was the NY Rangers.
...i really don't want to see Sundin here. While the guy can still score, bringing him in will go against all the moves we've made this off-season to get younger and faster. Plus we'd have to open up some cap space to get him to sign here.
...i'd like to go into the season with some cap room in the event we need to make a move.
