What Are the Rangers Doing With Dubinsky?

That's exactly what Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park wants to know...

"Here we are almost a month after Brandon Dubinsky was qualified by the New York Rangers but there remains no deal in place. It makes one scratch their head because the Rangers themselves are the ones who make it sound like they need Dubinsky but can not get any deal done."

Rubenstein also thinks the Rangers should make a run at Minnesota Wild back-up goalie Josh Harding, who he thinks is an up-grade over Steve Valiquette.

...you do have wonder what Sather is thinking here. Is he looking to package Dubinsky with say Roszival to dump salary? But with the Rangers so thin at center, who is he looking to get back Lecavalier? Or maybe he's just playing hardball. Which would be a slap in the face.
