TSN is reporting that Rangers prospect Michael Del Zotto and potential 2009 first overall pick Jon Tavares have been traded from the Oshawa Generals to the London Knights. This trade has no effect on Del Zotto's status with the Rangers.
The official AHL website reports that Rangers prospect Bobby Sanguinetti was named to the AHL All Star Game for team Planet USA. Steve Zipay at Blue Notes chimes in on this saying although Sanguinetti is improving he is not NHL ready.
