Rangers Extend Deal With 1050 ESPN Radio

Neil Best at Watchdog reports that MSG Media and 1050 ESPN announced an extension yesterday of the station's contract to carry Rangers games.

The agreement further extends a deal signed in June, 2007 and includes more cross-promotion between the Garden and 1050 ESPN.

...when they say cross-promotion does that mean 1050 ESPN Radio will actually mention the word hockey other than during a Rangers broadcast?

I wish they would simulcast on FM. I was in Detroit over the holidays and listened to the Wings crystal clear on FM. Lucky.
