Shanahan Scores Power Play Goal in Return

In his first game in more than eight months Brendan Shanahan broke a scoreless tie by scoring a power play goal in the Devils 3-1 victory over the Nashville Predators. For full story click here.

...at this pace Shanahan will have more power play goals than the entire Ranger team by the end of the week.

...in all seriousness, despite this goal it still doesn't change my mind that the Rangers were right to stay away from Shanahan.

Man, it's tough watching Shanny back in Jersey... especially when he scores a PP goal. Watch him tally a point in nearly every game left of the season.

I will definitely be singing a different tune if that's the case. And will be the first one to say I was wrong.

I'm not saying he would be a savior, but he puts the puck on the net and gets shots off quicker than Drury. And that's fast.
