Rangers Recall Sanguinetti

Newyorkrangers.com is reporting that defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Sanguinetti, who was just named to the AHL All-Star team, has 3 goals, 20 assists and is a -13 on the season for the Wolfpack.

For more on the recall visit Ranger Rants, where Andrew Gross explains that Sanguinetti was called-up due to injuries to Rozsival and Mara and why he may have gotten the call over Corey Potter.

...man I hope Sanguinetti gets a chance tonight. This team needs something to get them jump started. Let's hope this is it.

...unfortunately, Sanguinetti's -13 fits right in with the rest of the Rangers defensemen minus Marc Staal.

Wasn't there a report on Sanguinetti earlier this week that said while he was playing well offensively, we still wasn't NHL ready?

What gives?

Over at Blue Notes, Zipay seemed confused as well.
