Devils 4 Rangers 2

The New York Rangers lost to the New Jersey Devials by a score of 4-2, today at MSG. The Rangers are now 1-5 in the preseason.

...i didn't see a second of this game, but all I can say is only two goals again!!!!

...looks like the Drury on the wing experiment didn't work out. I actually would like to see Dubinsky put on the wing. He would be great fighting in the corners to dig pucks out and feed Drury on the crease. Just a thought.

...from what I've read Redden had another tough game. I told you I was worried about this guy.

...hopefully this team just needs some more practice time together which they should get in the next couple of days.

Dubinsky on the wing is an awful idea...Drury has played there before. Why mess with a young players head and confidence, and set back all the progress he has made.

I am not to worried bout wins and losses in the preseason. The Rangers have yet to play their " A " lineup.
Could be a slow start to the season for the Rangers, much like the Ducks last year.

I was at the game. Redden looked...shaky. A few turnovers and falling down randomly with the puck. The two goals were real nice though

Agreed with Fleisch. How can you judge the Drury to the wing experiment based on a game that you didn't even watch? Give it 10 games, then we can make a decision on that.

Same with Redden, he deserves a few games with one partner before we can judge, so far this preseason he has been with a different partner just about every game. Gotta give him credit for getting the puck on net, and frequently. He might outshoot Rozsival for the season in the first 10 games.

Like Fleisch, I am not worried about the preseason. Not to mention that the Rangers played 5 games in like 6 nights...ridiculous.

Yeah, I guess you guys are right. My comments were a bit too negative for us still being in the preseason. Expect much more positive comments after we lose on Tuesday to SC Bern. Just kidding.

Really? Everyone pretty much played at the Devils game. Who was missing?
