...since I missed the game (thank god) and I'm sure none of you want to re-live this most recent debacle. I thought I'd try and get everyone in a better mood by taking you back to a better time in Ranger history...
...it was March 3, 2006, the Rangers were on the outside of the playoff bubble looking in with a 30-27-7 record. The season seemed to be slipping away as the Rangers were on a 1-2-2 skid. The St. Louis Blues were in town for a matinee tilt and with the Rangers down 2-0 in the third period and all hope seemingly lost for a second straight season in the playoffs, they mounted a furious comeback to tie the game in regulation and then won in the shootout behind the goaltending of one Steve Valiquette. That win propelled the Rangers to a 12-3-3 record to close the season and give the Rangers the sixth seed in the playoffs.
...well guess who the Rangers are playing tomorrow with their season spiraling out-of-control? The same St. Louis Blues. Because I'm superstitious, I would love to see Valiquette playing in this game tomorrow. So let's go Ranger fans, this team has done it before. Why can't they do it again? Two years ago it started with an innocent win against the Blues, let's hope for a little deja vu tomorrow.

Innocent win against the Blues in a shootout with Sean Avery playing a HUGE role in getting the game to OT.
While Avery is with the 'Pack right now, here's to hoping someone steps up tomorrow to help stop the bleeding.
no, I don't see Avery coming for the game Vs St Louis, he wouldn't be ready or make it in time so maybe against the Isles is a better option, I feel bad for Renney, this isn't really his fault and I get the feeling the players are trying to get him fired ala pittsburgh style.
I hope that someone made the team watch the whole game including the NBC commentary. It was great to hear another perspective for once other than announcers on the MSG payroll. The NBC announcers kept saying that the Rangers play was poor and that the fans should be mad. I don't want to speak for all fans, but this is one pretty pissed off fan.
