Lundqvist May Be Left Out of Vezina Talk

Scott Burnside at ESPN.com says this year's Vezina Trophy race is wide open because of Martin Broduer and Robert Luongo's injuries and Henrik Lundqvist's up-and-down season...

"Even perennial candidate Henrik Lundqvist has endured an up-and-down season with his often-lifeless New York Rangers. Lundqvist was yanked Sunday after giving up four goals on 14 shots in a 5-2 loss to Philadelphia, and his 2.57 goals-against average is 19th in the NHL."

...while Lundqvist has thrown in his fair share of stinkers this year, he has lost about 10 games due to the Rangers failure to score. Plus the pressure on him every game to hold the opponent under two goals has to be weighing on him.
