Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reports that Lauri Korpikoski is out tonight against the Islanders with a mild upper-body injury sustained in St. Louis, meaning Nigel Dawes will return to the line-up.
With Korpikoski out, Chris Drury should be back at center on the second line (possibly with Dawes and Nik Zherdev), and Brandon Dubinsky will drop down to center a third line. Drury will remain on the point on the power play, because essentially, he'll shoot, Renney said.
Zipay also notes that no structural damage was found during Paul Mara's MRI of his right shoulder, so no surgery is needed. However, Mara's arm still remains in a sling.
...sweet the only guy who was scoring for the Rangers is out tonight. If they lose to the Islanders it could be all over for Renney.
