Sportsnet.ca is reporting that the Dallas Stars will place Sean Avery on re-entry waivers as early as Monday.Avery, who has one goal and one assist in six games with Hartford, will play in both Wolf Pack games this weekend.
Sportsnet adds that the Rangers have committed to claiming Avery providing he was still available.
...Avery has behaved himself down in Hartford, which is worrisome because a team below the Rangers (possibly the Penguins) might decide he's now worth the risk and claim him ahead of the Blueshirts.
