We Want Baranka!!!

Bruce Berlet at the Hartford Courant, has a nice read about Ivan Baranka's development with the Hartford Wolfpack...

"...Baranka has made enough happen this season to get three goals and seven assists and lead Pack defensemen in plus/minus (plus-12). It helped earn him his first NHL game in which he played 17 shifts for 12:44 and assisted on Colton Orr's winning goal in a 2-1 victory. He didn't play in a 3-2 loss to Florida Nov. 23 and then returned to the Pack..."

...with the way the defense is playing its only a matter of time till we see Baranka up with the Blue Shirts. his one game earlier this year I thought he was solid and didn't seem out of place. Obviously assisting on the game winner never hurts.

Bring this guy up now. I'm so sick of looking at Malik and Strudwick. Not sure why Renney continues to put these two bums in the lineup. They must have pictures of Renney having an affair.
