Both the eighth place Canadiens (4-1 over Chicago) and ninth place Panthers (5-2 over Ottawa) won last night. Meaning the Rangers only lead Montreal by a point (the Habs also have a game in hand) and Florida by two in the standings with just five games to go.
...no one said this was going to be easy.
