“I think everybody feels a little more confident with a guy like that in the lineup,” said Lundqvist. “He’s been hurt here and there, but he has been very focused when he came back.”
On the injury Gaborik noted...
“Halfway through the warmup, I felt good enough to play,” said Gaborik. “I’m not where I want to be but I will go out there and help anyway. It was a huge team effort and started with Hank. We have a tough road trip coming up, so this was a huge two points.”
...while the Rangers offense was far from clicking on all cylinders, you can just tell a difference in the team's demeanor with Gaborik in the line-up. Just look at the efforts from Callahan and Higgins tonight. Much better with Gaborik back.

...and Gaborik didn't even look that fast tonight. He was definitely conserving energy...but he's just so damn good.
Is there anyone who shoots the puck better than Gaborik? I can't think of anyone. I know some guys shoot harder, but Gabby's release is uncanny.
Alex O has just as lethal a shot. It was good to get a win yesterday but we need to score more than one goal or this is going to be a repeat of last year. Henrik can only play so many games before he gets tired. I almost hope Sweeden loses in the first round in the olympics so he's rested. Last olympics he looked burnt by the playoffs.
