3. Michael Del Zotto, Rangers
Just over 20 games into his NHL career, Del Zotto's play has been drawing comparisons to former Rangers blueline great Brian Leetch. With his smooth-skating and puck-handling ability, Del Zotto is currently third in rookie scoring, fourth in Rangers scoring, and ranks among the top 10 in scoring for defensemen. The 20-year-old has been arguably the Rangers best blueliner so far this season. If he continues to play well throughout the remainder of the season, he could be considered for rookie of the year honors.

Islanders rookie and top pick John Tavares is ranked #1.
...after his goal the other night against the Blue Jackets, Del Zotto should be #1.
