Bourque Uses Father's Experience to His Advantage

Mike G. Morreale at NHL.com has a nice feature on how Rangers prospect Ryan Bourque uses his hockey legend father Ray's experiences as a positive...

"It's neat more than anything and it hasn't made things tough for me at all," Bourque told NHL.com. "Obviously there's going to be a little adversity, but you learn to deal with it -- there are more positives than negatives. It's great having him there as support and to hear his feedback and just seeing what he does day in and day out; the professionalism he brings to everything he does is great."

In 13 games this season for the Quebec Remparts, Bourque's posted 6 goals (including 2 power-play goals), 9 points and a plus-3 rating.

...loved what I saw from the kid during the preseason. He might be a real darkhorse to make the team next season.
