Lightning 5, Rangers 1

The New York Rangers (13-11-1) lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning (10-6-7) by the score of 5-1, tonight. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports and newyorkrangers.com.

...not exactly the homecoming Tortorella was looking for. Rangers played like they ate a little too much Turkey yesterday. Had to be one of the worst efforts all season.

...thought Sanguinetti looked a little nervous in his first NHL game, but he held his own. No egregious mistakes.

...wonder if Torts will come right back with Lundqvist tomorrow after being pulled in the second.

...i know Callahan hasn't scored in a while, but no need to raise the stick the way he did to celebrate when they're down 5-1.

...anyone else's heart in their throat when Gaborik went crashing into Smith? Nice to see him bounce back up.

...why was Tampa picking on Boyle tonight?

...for the first time all year I was happy with Brashear's effort. Thought he played with an edge to his game we were all used to watching on the other side.

...no time to dwell on this one as they head to Pittsburgh tomorrow to take on the Penguins who somehow lost to the Isles today.

What a waste of space Boyle is. We gave a third round pick for this piece of garbage?

Tortorella is awful...Sather is worse!!!!

On most night this team is not competitive!!!

You can not play this system when you cannot play any defense...

What funny is that out of the Lockout, the Rangers were probably better suited to plays Tortorella's system...This current team is probably better suited to play a defense 1st system like Renneys...

Either way they are awful and will probably finish below the Isles....
