I'd be remiss if I didn't post this quote by Sean Avery on why the Rangers didn't retaliate after Curtis Glencross' blindside hit on Chris Drury...

...i couldn't disagree more with Avery. It's a November regular season game. I don't care what the score is. Go after the guy and pummel him. That's your bleeping Captain!!!
...and I'm sure every team in the league took notice. Better watch your back Gaborik.

Funny that Avery of all people is talking about the rule protecting cowards...
Um...Avery is not afraid to step in front of a leveling hit in order to make a play.
